Riyadh – Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar welcomed the Ambassador of Lebanon to Saudi Arabia, Ali Karanouh, during an official meeting held at Al-Hakam Palace in Riyadh.

The meeting reflected the Kingdom’s continued emphasis on strengthening diplomatic engagement and maintaining open channels of dialogue with regional partners.

Prince Faisal extended a warm welcome to the Lebanese ambassador and conveyed his best wishes for success in carrying out his diplomatic duties in the Kingdom.

The reception highlighted the importance Saudi Arabia places on fostering constructive relations built on mutual respect and shared regional interests.

Discussions during the meeting covered a range of topics of common interest, underscoring the depth and diversity of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.

Both sides emphasized the value of diplomatic communication in addressing regional developments and supporting stability across the Middle East.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to reaffirm the long-standing historical ties between the two nations, which are rooted in cultural exchange and people-to-people connections.

Such engagements contribute to reinforcing mutual understanding and promoting collaboration across diplomatic, social, and economic spheres.

Saudi Arabia continues to play a central role in encouraging dialogue and partnership with Arab nations, reflecting its commitment to regional cooperation.

The reception of Ambassador Karanouh aligns with broader diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing coordination and goodwill among regional partners.

In a separate engagement highlighting Saudi Arabia’s active diplomatic outreach, Madinah Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz received Shakhawat Hossain, the Consul General of Bangladesh in Jeddah.

These meetings provide an important platform for exchanging perspectives and identifying opportunities for cooperation across various sectors.

By welcoming diplomatic envoys, Saudi leadership demonstrates its openness and commitment to maintaining strong international relationships.

Such interactions also reflect the Kingdom’s broader Vision 2030 objectives, which include enhancing Saudi Arabia’s global presence and diplomatic effectiveness.

Diplomatic receptions at the regional level help reinforce the Kingdom’s image as a hub for dialogue, stability, and constructive engagement.

They also highlight the importance of personal diplomacy in building trust and strengthening long-term partnerships.
