Bollywood Preity Zinta Calls for Positivity, Urges Us to Be Real on Social Media

Delhi — Bollywood star Preity Zinta took to to share her thoughts on the negativity taking over social media. In an honest and relatable post, she pointed out how conversations online have become filled with doubt and criticism.

She mentioned how even innocent things, like talking about your first experience with an AI chatbot, are automatically seen as paid promotions. She also brought up the harsh judgments people face based on their political views, saying that praising the Prime Minister makes you a “bhakt” and showing pride in your Indian or Hindu identity might get you labeled an “Andh Bhakt.”

“Let’s keep it real, folks, and accept people for who they are, not who we think they should be!” she wrote, encouraging everyone to be more open-minded and respectful in their online interactions. Preity also joked, “Maybe we all need to take a chill pill and just enjoy talking to each other!”

And when it came to the usual question about her marriage to Gene Goodenough, she added with a wink, “I married him because I love him 💕 Kyuki sarhad par ek aisa shaks hai, jo mere liye apni jaan de sakta hai 🤩❤️ samjhe 😂 If you know, you know …. Ting!”

Her message has sparked a conversation about how we engage with each other online, with many applauding her call for a more kind and accepting social media world.
