US voices support to Saudi Arabia after Houthis’ terrorist attack

Date:

Washington — The United States on Monday voiced support for Saudi Arabia against the repeated Houthi terror attacks against the Kingdom.

Spokesperson for Department of State Ned Price said, “We have made very clear that we stand with our Saudi partners who have, for quite some time, endured terrorist attacks by the Houthis in Yemen”.

He cautioned that actions of Houthi militia are undermining international efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

“The Houthis have demonstrated through their actions on the ground, including their offensive against Marib through their continuing attacks against Saudi Arabia, including attacks that have the potential to inflict grievous harm on civilians in Saudi Arabia that — at the current moment, they are the obstacle to diplomacy. They are the obstacle to finding a resolution to this conflict,” he said.
