Saudi family hosts grand farewell for an Indian Imam

Riyadh – A Saudi family hosted a grand farewell for an Indian Imam who served in a local mosque for 38 years in the Qurayyat city of northern Saudi Arabia.

When Imam Sheikh Saeed decided to leave the Kingdom for good, the family decided to give him an emotional goodbye with a grand party.

A local Al-Ekhbariya channel covered the event which showed a large number of Saudis attending the event. They spoke emotionally about their bond and affection with the Imam.

They said, he was more than a family member for them.

They expressed gratitude to Imam Saeed for his sincerity, dedication, and piety in performing his duties.

They offered Imam with precious gifts.

“I thank the people of Qurayyat and everyone”, Imam Saeed said. “I’m sad due to departure. After all, 38 years are not a short time”.

Saudi Arabia and India have held great relations for decades. Under the current Saudi leadership, the relations are more fortified in terms of trade, investments, and security.
