The minister and his delegation traveled to New York from Havana, Cuba, where they had participated in the G77+China Summit on September 16.

The UN General Assembly, scheduled from September 18 to 26, 2023, has convened against a backdrop of pressing global concerns. During the General Assembly, Prince Faisal will engage in several official meetings aimed at discussing approaches to tackle these critical issues. He will also participate in ministerial meetings involving the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the League of Arab States, as reported by SPA.

In addition to these engagements, the Saudi Foreign Minister will hold bilateral meetings with representatives from various countries. These meetings provide an opportunity to strengthen diplomatic ties, exchange views on regional and international matters, and explore avenues for collaboration.

Furthermore, Prince Faisal will meet with officials from international organizations participating in the UN General Assembly’s 78th session. Such interactions allow for discussions on shared priorities, cooperation on global challenges, and the exchange of ideas and best practices.
