Riyadh – On Wednesday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) provided food packages for Ramadan in Lebanon, Bangladesh, and Niger.
This Ramadan, thousands of households in many places throughout the world benefited from the programme. On Wednesday, more than 30 tonnes of food packages were distributed in Niger, more than 64 tonnes were received in Bangladesh, and 3 tonnes were delivered to Albania.
As part of a programme to assist food security in Lebanon during the holy month of Ramadan, the centre also provided approximately 32 tonnes of food packages to the Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
KSrelief donated 345 shelter bags to flood and torrent victims in Bangladesh as well. This aid was part of Saudi Arabia’s shelter programmes, which were given to the most vulnerable households in the many impacted locations.
