Date:

Riyadh – Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan rejected the Israeli media rumors on Monday that a meeting took place between Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The Israeli media reports earlier stated that, Israeli Prime Minister and the head of Israel’s secret service Mossad, Yosef Meir Cohen, secretly flew to NEOM city from Tel Aviv to meet Saudi Crown Prince.

Prince Faisal tweeted, “I have seen press reports about a purported meeting between HRH the Crown Prince and Israeli officials during the recent visit by @SecPompeo. No such meeting occurred. The only officials present were American and Saudi”.

According to Al Arabiya news agency, Prince Faisal said, “I received and bid farewell to Secretary of State Pompeo in the airport in NEOM and attended his meeting with the Crown Prince. There were no Israelis present”.
