King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Provides Medical Services in Yemen

Riyadh – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its unwavering commitment to providing essential medical services in Yemen, a country devastated by years of conflict.

Throughout the months of August and September, KSrelief’s mobile medical and nutritional clinics have been instrumental in delivering much-needed healthcare assistance to the people of Al-Khokha, Yemen.

During this period, the mobile clinics catered to the medical needs of a total of 16,050 individuals. The internal medicine department alone examined 3,034 patients, while the emergency clinic provided prompt care to 2,808 people in urgent need. Other clinics, including those specializing in epidemiology, pediatrics, and obstetrics, were also available to address specific healthcare requirements.

In addition to consultations, KSrelief’s medical teams provided laboratory services to 3,485 individuals, ensuring timely and accurate diagnostic support. Medications were dispensed to 11,029 patients, ensuring that they received the necessary pharmaceutical treatment.

Furthermore, the Kidney Dialysis Center at Al-Ghaydah continued to play a vital role in delivering life-saving medical services to residents, thanks to the collaboration between the center and KSrelief. During the two-month period, approximately 50 patients underwent 407 scheduled kidney dialysis sessions, with an additional five emergency sessions conducted. Moreover, 88 individuals received comprehensive medical examinations at the kidney disease clinic, ensuring early detection and intervention.

Meanwhile, in Hajjah, the Al-Ja’dah Health Center, with the support of KSrelief, provided treatment services to 8,106 individuals in August alone. The center’s emergency clinic attended to 3,728 patients, administering procedures such as blood transfusions and waste disposals, addressing critical healthcare needs in the region.

These initiatives are part of the ongoing relief projects undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its dedicated humanitarian arm, KSrelief. Despite the challenges posed by the prolonged conflict in Yemen, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center remains steadfast in its mission to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and improve their access to crucial healthcare services.

The relentless efforts of KSrelief serve as a testament to the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting humanitarian causes and extending a helping hand to those in need, both within Yemen and across the globe.
