Riyadh – Saudi Arabia’s principal electricity supplier Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announced on Monday that it will not disconnect electricity over nonpayment of bills for a month, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
All the subscribers are assured that there will be uninterrupted highest quality of services with all their emergency teams working 24/7.
SEC has also promised that it’s prepared to deal with any kind of emergency situation that might arise due to coronavirus outbreak.
The electricity provider said that it is trying its level best to ensure safety of its workers while actively contributing to the national campaign to combat the spread of coronavirus infection at different levels.
SEC enjoys a monopoly on the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power in Saudi Arabia through 45 power generation plants in the country. In 2019, it was ranked by Forbes as the 5th largest company in the Kingdom, and the 578 worldwide, with total annual sales of $17.1 billion.
