Iranian and Saudi foreign ministers talk on the phone

Date:

Riyadh – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan and the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian talked over phone on Saturday.

They covered several matters of interest to both nations during their discussion, as well as the next stages in the recently reached China-brokered pact.

The two ministers have spoken on the phone several times since the conclusion of discussions led by Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing last month, which resulted in an agreement to repair diplomatic ties.

Between March 6 and March 10, Iran and Saudi Arabia met in Beijing for four days of negotiations.
