Doha — Muslim Brotherhood’s provocateur Yusuf al-Qaradawi died on Monday, at the age of 96 in Qatar, his son Abdul Rahman al-Qardawi confirmed the news on his Twitter account.
Al-Qaradawi who born on 9th September 1926 in Egypt, he had been living in Qatar in exile since 2013, due to his role in inciting the uprising and supporting the terrorists during the Arab Spring.
Al-Qaradawi has been a fervent supporter of what he refers to as “Islamic Sufism,” hailing its practitioners as devout.
His verdicts played a key role in the assassination of Muammar Gaddafi of Libya, and to justify the presence of militias in Syria against Bashar Al-Assad.
Al-Qaradawi was also an ardent follower of Hasan al-Banna and a longtime Muslim Brotherhood member. He has, however, declined two invitations to serve as its leader.
In January 2009, Al-Qaradawi was cited for declaring the Jewsish people as “enemies of God” who deserve another Holocaust as retribution. Hitler’s Holocaust, according to him, was “divine retribution” for their “corruption”.United States banned Al-Qaradawi in 1999 and the United Kingdom in 2008. The ban was still valid.
