Washington – The Saudi ambassador to United States of America, Prince Khalid bin Salman Aale-Saud, tweeted on Thursday that, Saudi Arabia and UAE will jointly work towards ending the conflict in Afghanistan and formulate the peace process.
#KSA and the #UAE share the international community’s desire for peace in Afghanistan, and will continue their efforts towards promoting dialogue and reconciliation. The peace talks held in the UAE will help bring us closer to that goal.

In an another tweet, he expressed that peace talks held in UAE will surely bridge the gaps of reconciliation between Afghanistan’s warring groups.
He enthused that, talks were productive and will help promote intra-Afghan dialogue towards ending the conflict.
We will continue to work with our allies; USA and UAE and others to produce positive results for the brotherly Afghani people in order to find an end to the conflict and establish much needed peace and security in Afghanistan.

UAE hosted a two-days US-Taliban reconciliation talk in Abu Dhabi earlier this week, while Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were also present.
The talks seems to fortify the positive results and will bring tangible solution.
However, UAE also plans for a conclusive round of peace talks to finalize the reconciliation process.
