Saudi Arabia and UAE work for peace and security in Afghanistan, says Prince Khalid bin Salman

Date:

Washington – The Saudi ambassador to United States of America, Prince Khalid bin Salman Aale-Saud, tweeted on Thursday that, Saudi Arabia and UAE will jointly work towards ending the conflict in Afghanistan and formulate the peace process.

In an another tweet, he expressed that peace talks held in UAE will surely bridge the gaps of reconciliation between Afghanistan’s warring groups.

He enthused that, talks were productive and will help promote intra-Afghan dialogue towards ending the conflict.

UAE hosted a two-days US-Taliban reconciliation talk in Abu Dhabi earlier this week, while Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were also present.

The talks seems to fortify the positive results and will bring tangible solution.

However, UAE also plans for a conclusive round of peace talks to finalize the reconciliation process.
