Riyadh – Saudi authorities will start distributing hand-sanitizers for free of charge at all public places within the capital city of Riyadh starting from Tuesday, according to a tweet by Amanatal-Riyadh.

According to the tweet, the General Authority for Food and Medicine have approved the mass production of the sterilization material through the local laboratories, so that the citizens and residents should not face the scarcity.
The authority has also approved the distribution of hand-sanitizers at all public places including traffic signals and mosques in coordination with local authorities and other government agencies.
Saudi Arabia has reported 15 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), making it a total of 118 cases as of Sunday.
Earlier this week, Saudi government announced shutting down of malls except food stores and pharmacies, and banned serving food in restaurants and cafes, but allowed delivery services and pick-up. It also banned public gatherings at places like parks, beaches, cinema halls, etc.
