Jeddah – The operation to evacuate citizens, other nationals, diplomats, and international officials from Sudan was carried out by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF), according to the foreign ministry.
The operation was carried out by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces with the assistance of other military branches.
According to the ministry, 66 people were evacuated from Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Tunisia, Pakistan, India, Bulgaria, the Philippines, Canada, and Burkina Faso. There were 91 Saudi nationals that were evacuated.
Both residents of other countries and citizens of Saudi Arabia have successfully landed in Jeddah. According to the Ministry, this resulted from the execution of the leadership of the Kingdom’s instructions.
The batches were welcomed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed Al-Khereiji when they arrived in Jeddah at King Faisal Naval Base.
Al-Khereiji claimed that the evacuation’s long journey, which began in Khartoum and involved the assistance of several government organisations in the Kingdom, began in Khartoum and ended at Port Sudan.
He confirmed that the Ministry of Defence played a crucial part in carrying out this plan.

The crew of Saudia Airlines was on board the second Saudi ship when it was attacked in Khartoum Airport.
