Washington (AltNews) — US president Donald Trump shared an image of himself supposedly awarding a medal of honour to Conan, the military dog who helped chase down IS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. “American Hero,” the president tweeted on Tuesday.

The image however is not genuine but a work of photoshop.
Incidentally, Trump had himself shared the original image of Conan on Tuesday to subtly tease his opponents.
We have declassified a picture of the wonderful dog (name not declassified) that did such a GREAT JOB in capturing and killing the Leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi! pic.twitter.com/PDMx9nZWvw

This was superimposed upon a photograph of the president awarding a medal of honour to James McCloughan in 2017.
McCloughan is a retired army medic who was honoured for saving the lives of 10 people during the Vietnam War.
