Riyadh – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed food packages in Albania, Bangladesh, and Yemen this week.
In Yemen, 3,318 cartons of dates were delivered to displaced people in Marib governorate, while about 13 tonnes of food packages were distributed to families in Shabwa governorate’s Bayhan area, aiding 40 families in need.
As part of the Ramadan food distribution project for 2023, the centre also provided 24 tonnes of food aid in Bangladesh and 6 tonnes in Albania.
The food aid project is part of the Kingdom’s efforts, as represented by its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to attain food security, alleviate the suffering of the destitute, and provide basic food necessities, particularly during Ramadan.
