Riyadh – The Saudi Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority have signed a significant memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Korea Customs Service, solidifying the mutual recognition of an economic operator program approved by both countries.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, the authority’s governor, and Ko Kwang-hyo, the Korea Customs Service commissioner.
The memorandum, announced through a post on the social media platform X, aims to enhance the security of the supply chain and facilitate trade by establishing a framework for the exchange of privileges provided to economic operators accredited by customs authorities in Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
