Leaders of the UAE and Saudi Arabia extend their condolences to the Emir of Qatar

Dubai – According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), on Saturday, Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, offered his condolences to Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, following the passing of Mohammed bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani.

“I received news of the passing of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani – may God have mercy on him – and I send to your Highness and the family of the deceased my warmest condolences and sincere sympathy. I ask the Almighty God to cover him with the abundance of his mercy and forgiveness, to dwell him in his spacious gardens, and to protect you from all harm, for He is All-Hearing and Responsive,”

Additionally, King Salman bin Abdulaziz extended the Emir his sympathies.

The King said, “[As] we extend our heartfelt condolences and genuine sympathy to Your Highness and the deceased’s family, we pray to God Almighty to cover him with an abundance of His mercy and forgiveness, to dwell him in His vast gardens, and to keep you safe from all danger. We will return to God, to Whom we belong.

According to Emirates News Agency, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also expressed his compassion and condolences.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and ruler of Dubai, as well as Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, ruler of Fujairah, all extended their condolences.
