Leaders of Muslim World League and India’s Salafi University emphasize promoting tolerance in Non-Muslim societies

New Delhi — Dr. Mohammed AlIssa of Saudi Arabia’s Muslim World League (MWL), met the General Secretary of India’s Jamiah Salafiyah University, Shaykh Abdullah Saud Salafi to discuss about promoting tolerance and co-existence in a Non-Muslim society.

The two chiefs also discussed the role of the Salafi university in teaching authentic knowledge to students, including the values of mercy of Islam to the world.

Shaykh Salafi emphasized the importance of optimal coexistence and mutual respect among the diverse Indian society, and expressed his keenness to teach Islamic values and national principles at the university to enhance religious awareness.

He also noted that they benefited from the Charter of Makkah, which was approved by muftis and scholars of the Islamic Ummah, and that the university considered it an important resource.
