Cairo (Reuters) – Qatar’s Emir arrived in Cairo on Friday on an official visit to meet Egypt’s President, Egyptian state TV reported, in the first trip to the country since Cairo and Doha agreed last year to end a long-running regional feud.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic of Egypt stated that the visit is expected to include holding bilateral talks between the two leaders to address the overall bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to enhance them in various fields, in addition to discussing developments in regional and international political issues of common interest.
