Riyadh – Muslims’ holy month of Ramadan will start in Saudi Arabia from Saturday, according to an official announcement on Friday.
Saudi Royal Court issued a statement, “Saturday, April 2, is the first of Ramadan for the year 1443H”.
Capable Muslims will start offering Taraveeh prayers from Friday evening, after Isha prayers, while Saturday will be the first day of fasting.
