New Delhi – India’s radical and infamous preacher Salman Hussain Nadwi on Saturday expressed anger over the improving tolerant attitude of the Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt, towards the followers of Judaism and Christianity.
“And in the Arab World, among the governments of Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt. The verses of the Holy Book that are related to the Jews and Christians, where it’s said, ‘do not befriend Jews and the Christians’ and they are such and such people. These verses are removed from the school syllabuses”, Nadwi said while addressing his followers through a video published on his official Youtube channel.
“And I objected to it strongly, and I urged the Muslim leaders and scholars to take stern action against it. But I saw silence. Now, what should I do?”, he said.
Further, he said, “I urge and call everyone including Ulema, Mufti and Religious followers to take stern action”.
Nadwi attracted media attention in mid-2014 when he wrote an open letter to pay allegiance and extend congratulations to the former ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Moreover, according to a report published in August 2020. Turkish President Erdogan has directed all his diplomats to approach prominent clerics, businessmen and politicians, and pointed out towards radical preacher Salman Nadwi as a main conduit for establishing an Erdogan support base among Indian Muslims.
In September 2017, Oman deported Nadwi for his extremist views and vile agenda against the brotherly GCC countries.
Nadwi’s directed his attacks towards the latest peace deals that took place under the former US President Donald Trump’s mediation, where Muslim countries like UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan signed treaties with Israel. However, Saudi Arabia has reiterated Two-State Solution proposed under Arab Peace Initiative 2002, in order to normalize relations with the Jewish state.
