Riyadh – Zamzam water bottles can only be transported under certain conditions, according to King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah.

KAIA stated in an infographic distributed via Twitter that in order to carry something, one must buy the legal five-liter container from the main retail locations rather than putting it in their checked luggage.

Most pilgrims and Umrah performers enter the country through King Abdulaziz International Airport.

As long as there is a reservation for the Umrah on the “Nusuk” application, KAIA stated that one package is permitted for each outgoing international pilgrim.

Regarding Zamzam water

East of the Kaaba by 21 metres, in Makkah al-Mukarramah, is where you’ll find the Zamzam well. It has a lengthy past that goes back thousands of years.

Given that it is 30 metres below ground, Muslims who drink it place a high value on it spiritually because, according to hadiths, the Prophet’s “Zamzam water is for what he drank.”

Muslims place a high importance on zamzam water and frequently consume it in the pursuit of general well-being.
