The Embassy in New Delhi tweeted in Arabic, “On the occasion of the International Day of the Arabic Language, the Cultural Attaché in the Republic of India held a symposium at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi entitled ‘The role of the Kingdom’s government and its institutions in serving the Arabic language at the global level’.

The symposium was opened by Saudi Ambassador to India, His Excellency Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussaini, in the presence of Professor SC Jarkoti, Vice President of the University. The cultural attache Professor Dr. Khaled Barqawi, and a number of university professors, academics, and those interested in the field of Arabic language, were also present.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, King Khalid University and the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language collaborated to host a celebration at Al-Faraa University City with the subject “The Contribution of the Arabic Language to Human Civilization and Culture”.

The King Khalid University president, Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Sulami, welcomed the Kingdom’s efforts to support the Arabic language because of its significance as one of the pillars of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision.
