<p><strong>Dammam –</strong> Indian Navy Ship (INS) Talwar arrived at Saudi Arabia&#8217;s Jubail port on Saturday as part of growing Defense Corporation between Saudi Arabia and India. </p>



<p>Indian Embassy in Riyadh issued a Press Release stating that, &#8220;This port call by Indian Frigate underscores the friendly ties and multi-faceted corporation between India and Saudi Arabia&#8221;.</p>



<p>Indian Embassy officials, Eastern fleet of Royal Saudi Naval Forces, and Border Guard officials arrived to receive Talwar.</p>

<p>INS will be deployed in the gulf waters to ensure the safe passage of Indian merchant ships.</p>



<p>Talwar was designed by Russia&#8217;s Severnoye Design Bureau, and it was preceded by Brahmaputra-class frigates. The Indian Navy currently has six of these ships and plans to induct four more in the future.</p>
