<p><strong>Riyadh —</strong> The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has been appointed as the new Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, according to the royal decree made by King Salman Al-Saud on Tuesday.</p>

<p>The position of Prime Minister had been held by King Salman, who has now appointed his son for the position.</p>



<p>King also restructured the Council of Ministers, headed by the Crown Prince. </p>



<p>Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid Bin Salman becomes the Minister of Defense. </p>



<p>Yousef bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Bunyan was also named the Minister of Education during the restructruring.</p>



<p>Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Investment Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, and Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan are the ministers who will remain in their roles.</p>



<p>Walid Al-Samaani continues to serve as Minister of Justice, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar continues to serve as Minister of the National Guard, and Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh continues to serve as Minister of Islamic Affairs.</p>



<p>Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal keeps his position as Minister of Sports, while Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan continues in his position as Minister of Culture.</p>



<p>In addition, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi will continue to serve as Minister of Commerce, while Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah will continue to serve as Minister of Hajj and Umrah.</p>



<p>Other cabinet members include Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel as Minister of Health, Ahmed Al-Khateeb as Minister of Tourism, Faisal bin Fadhil Alibrahim as Minister of Economy and Planning, and Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.</p>
