George Soros has made it clear that he intends to undermine the democratic system in India. DisInfo Lab has discovered

George Soros has made it clear that he intends to undermine the democratic system in India. DisInfo Lab has discovered in their two-year investigation that India has been his target for many years. A well-oiled machine running on the Indian fault-lines has been financed by Soros. His most recent comments are simply him emerging from the shadows.

Below is the explosive content DisInfo Lab has unearthed about Soros’ complicated network including Muslim Brotherhood. The content below is verbatim based on Lab’s Twitter thread shared with the Milli Chronicle.

Philanthropist’ George Soros has been promoting democracy all over the world — just like that. Incidentally, many fronts that target India’s image with fake data and fabricated stories, exploiting India’s fault-lines, found to be linked with Soros — just like that.

India has been very lucky in terms of enemies — from Islamists to Communist China. But there are players who operate from shadows. From layers within layers. Our protagonist is one. The machinery he runs manage to exploit all Indian fault-lines simultaneously.

Religious Freedom

India has been blacklisted by the USCIRF on religious freedom (2020-22). Its commissioner, Anurima Bhargava played a critical role in backlisting India, and called for sanctioning India. Bhargava is 2016 Fellow of the Open Society Foundation (OSF).

Anurima later moved from USCIRF to the ‘Doc Society’, a US-based documentary and multimedia house known for its documentary on Ravish Kumar. Doc Society also receives funds from OSF. Expect some blockbusters.

Kashmir Conflict

There has been a sudden spurt of ‘foreign experts’ on Kashmir since 2019 – one such expert is Khaled Beydoun. Interestingly, Beydoun didn’t talk about India or Kashmir till about 2019. Beydoun had received Soros Equality Fellowship in 2018.

Islamophobia in India?

While the Islamophobia narrative was launched through an orchestrated campaign by Pakistan establishment, the narrative has also been pushed by global foot soldiers like Beydoun, again from 2019.

Fascism

Campaigns for labelling India as Fascist state is spearheaded by ‘Hindus for Hire (HfHR)’ since 2019. HfHR cofounder, Sunita Vishwanath is ex-Associate Director at Soros Reproductive Health fellowship. Her other front ‘Women for Afghan Women’ is funded by OSF.

Genocide

Having set up Islamophobia and Fascism, next in line was genocide. The prophet to predict impending genocide (since 2019) in India is Gregory Stanton, founder ‘Genocide Watch’. His ‘Cambodian Genocide Project’ was funded by Open Society Institute. Coincidence?

Caste Fault Line

While caste is a major concern for Indian society, for some strange reason the poster girl for Dalit discourse is US born and raised activist Thenmozhi Soundarajan (Dalit Diva), who set-up ‘Equality Labs’. Guess who provides the required grants: OSF.

Incidentally, Dalit Diva is also a Jamaat darling, associated with the same nexus led by Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC) and Justice For All (JFA). This is not surprising how a shallow report by Equality Lab managed to influence not only MNCs but local governments, and gets substantial media space.

Before Dalit Diva, former journalist, VT Rajsekhar was the face of Dalit/Caste discourse in India. Presently, VT Rajsekhar’s son, Salil Shetty is VP of OSF. Shetty has previously worked at Amnesty International and Action Aid India (banned for receiving foreign funds).

Shetty’s predecessor at Action Aid was Harsh Mander, ex-Member of National Advisory Council (super cabinet). He is on the advisory board of Delhi-based ‘Quill Foundation’ that runs a fabricated DOTO Database, used by US-based Pak-Jamaat nexus to paint ‘Islamophobia’ narrative.

Mander was one of the advisors of “The Justice Foundation”, founded by the ISI handler and separatist Ayyub Thakur. Mander is, incidentally, also the former chairman of OSF’s Human Rights Initiative Advisory Board.

Corruption

The Rafale Deal between India and France faced prolonged corruption accusations globally. The French NGO — Sherpa Association had filed the complaint in France. Sherpa is funded by the OSF.

Sherpa Association is funded by two other NGOs part of the OSF network — Sigrid Rausing Trust (SRT) and Charles Léopold Meyer Foundation for the Progress of Humankind (FPH). SRT members Mabel van Oranje and Chris Stone were Int. Advocacy Director & President respectively at OSF.

This labyrinth of activists and activism have succeeded in labelling India as Islamophobic, Fascist, and prone to genocide. These are used for ranking India’s falling freedom &and failing democracy by ‘Freedom House’ and ‘Reporters Without Borders’. They are also funded by OSF.

Once this art-work of Soros Gang has succeeded in painting India as ‘Islamophobic’ and ‘Fascist’ — the artist himself arrives on scene — to correct this democratic anomaly. It’s time to change the government in India.

But this is not the story. This is not even the beginning of the story. This is a prelude. The story coming soon — Magarmachh (Crocodile).

Hyderabad — A counter-extremism conference was held at Hockey ground in the Hyderabad city of India on Sunday to educate

Hyderabad — A counter-extremism conference was held at Hockey ground in the Hyderabad city of India on Sunday to educate and warn the youth of the Muslim community against the trends and patterns of the radical organizations like Muslim-Brotherhood, Hamas, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS.

Members of the pro-Salafi organization Ashaab-Ul-Yameen — ‘People of the Right-Side’ invited the scholars and preachers from the Ahle-Hadees school-of-thought to address the dangers and threats of the extremist organizations who exploit the emotionally charged-up youth for their ulterior agenda.

For the first time in the city, the scholars at the ‘Ashaab-Ul-Yameen Conference-2’ were very vocal and upfront to publicly mention the names of the radical groups who work under the pretention of Islamic awakening.

Shaykh Hussain Madani, vice president of the Telangana’s Jamiat Ahle-Hadees, congratulated the organizers of the conference and said, “Conferences like these should be held at the national and international levels in order to present the true understanding of Islam”.

Shaykh Hussain recalled his treatise, which he wrote in 2014 against ISIS, in Urdu and English, to expose the dangers of the terrorist organization. It was a peak time when the majority of the Muslims were sympathizing the organization for its so-called ‘Jihad’ against the west.

Shaykh Hussain said that being nationalistic and loving one’s nation is part of the innate human nature. He quoted traditional Muslim scholar Ibn Hajar to support his claim.

He said, “the love of nation made the Indian freedom fighters like Moulana Azad to oppose the partition of India and Pakistan”.

Shaykh Abdus-Salam Madani, vice president of the Chennai’s Jamiat Ahle-Hadees, spoke about the fraud and exploitation of the caliphate ‘Khilafah’ calls.

He said, “It’s day-dreaming and ignorance to think that all the current issues of the Muslims will disappear overnight by the arrival of caliphate”.

Shaykh Abdus-Salam warned against the Khomeini-influenced extremist organization Jamat-e-Islami, who doesn’t consider the fundamental and spiritual aspects of Islam as essential, who urge the youth to run after the so-called caliphate.

He held the Muslim-Brotherhood ideology responsible for the destruction of Syria, Libya and other parts of Middle-East.

“The proper methodology of Islam is to connect with the Rulers and the governments and advise them, instead of uprisings and protests to dethrone them and occupy their seats. Prophets never came to grab the governments; rather they came to call people to God’s path”, he added.

Shaykh Wajid Hasan, vice president of the Hyderabad’s Jamiat Ahle-Hadees, spoke about the life and teachings of the 18th century revivalist Imam Mohammed Bin Abdulwahab, and his alliance with Imam Mohammed Bin Saud to establish the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He explained that the reason to choose the topic was to clear the cobwebs about the term ‘Wahabi’, which is often seen as a synonym to terrorism.

Shaykh Wajid said that most people confuse the African Wahabi-cult started by Abdulwahab Bin Abdurrahman Al-Rustam with the pristine movement of Imam Mohammed Bin Abdulwahab of Saudi Arabia. Rustam’s Khawarij-cult was all about bloodshed and terrorism, while Imam Bin Abdulwahab’s teachings are otherwise.

He said, the term ‘Wahabi’ was deliberately coined by Ottoman Turks to defame the movement of the revivalist, at a time when they were losing grip over the two holy cities of Makkah and Madina.

Shaykh Wajid praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the peace and stability it holds in the Middle-East region, while he attributed the success graph of the kingdom to the foundations laid by Imam Mohammed Bin Saud.

Shaykh Dr. Ajmal Manzoor Madani, lecturer at Mumbai’s Jamia-ut-Tawheed institute, spoke about the qualities and patterns of Khawarij terrorists, while exposing the double-standards of Islamist preachers like Yusuf Qardawi, Hasan Banna, Syed Qutb and Abul-Ala Maududi.

He said, “Muslims have always suffered due to the actions of Khawarij groups. Their emergence took place after Prophet Mohammed’s death, during the battles of Siffin and Nahrawan. And today, they brought destruction in Syria and Libya”.

Dr. Madani added, “Our youth work with emotions, not with their intellect, and due to this, they are hasty in calling Muslims as Kaafir, and waging war against them”.

He said that, youth are mostly oblivious to the Islamic Shariah, that’s the reason they resort to suicide bombing and bloodshed.

While exposing the double-standards of Islamist preachers, he said, “Look at the lifestyle of Qardawi, Banna, Qutb and Maududi. Their children are well-settled in the western countries, while they exploit your children for their goals”.

Director of IPlus TV, Shaykh Kifayatullah Sanabili explained how modern-day youth get misguided due to their abandoning of traditional scholars, and picking up the tools of self-study.

Shaykh Sanabili said that, correct and sound understanding of Islam comes through methodology of Prophet and his companions, while misguidance comes through self-amazement.

Eventually, Delhi-based Shaykh Mohammed Rehmani, president of Jamia Islamia Sanabil, warned against the self-professed preachers and callers of Islam.

Shaykh Rehmani said, “Islam is learnt while sitting at the doorsteps of real scholars, not through YouTube and social media celebrities. Unfortunately, today, we gauge a person’s knowledge of Islam based on the hits and views he gets on the YouTube videos, and this is a problematic situation”.

Shaykh Rehmani urged the Muslims to obey the law of the land, and never rebel against the establishment. He also asked them to stay away from the radical groups that promote the anti-state sentiments.

During a QA session, Shaykh Rehmani was asked about the extremist Islamist organization, Popular Front of India (PFI). Upon which, he expounded PFI’s affair, and called a spade a spade in terming the organization as an extremist cult that derives it methodology from the global Muslim Brotherhood’s militant outfit ‘Hamas’.

He quoted PFI’s chairman and said, “PFI follows Hamas model, not the Tablighi or Salafi model. Which indeed is a threat to the society”.

Shaykh Rehmani said that PFI works under different banners like Indian Fraternity Forum (IFF) and Indian Social Forum (ISF) in the Middle-East, while they have 16 different shades throughout India.

He urged the Ahle-Hadees followers and their chiefs to safeguard themselves against the PFI’s infiltration, and to warn against the influence of Muslim Brotherhood’s splinter groups like Jamat-e-Islami.

Further, Shaykh Rehmani awarded a memento to the organizers, and appreciated their efforts. Imam Khaled Basheer Mohammedi delivered the vote of thanks.

Around 900-1000 audiences showed up at the conference.

Milli Chronicle Media England, Ezal Magazine Saudi Arabia, Miftah Educational and Welfare Society, Azwa-Us-Salaf Educational and Welfare Society, and Ashaabul-Yameen Team sponsored the conference.

The intel report also accused the Turkish Embassy in Delhi of forging alliances with Indian NGOs, pointing that Indian activists who serve Ankara’s agenda are increasingly being sent to Turkey on exposure trips and encouraged to speak against India.

The Turkish foreign ministry on Wednesday criticised India’s decision to revoke Jammu and Kashmir’s special status in August last year, asserting that it did not contribute to peace and stability in the region. India had, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s government in Ankara said, “further complicated the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and not served peace and stability in the region”. It also called for dialogue between India and Pakistan.

The Turkish statement has been seen to have been issued in coordination with Imran Khan’s government in Pakistan, the only country other than Xi Jinping’s China to have put out a statement on the first anniversary of Jammu and Kashmir’s new status in the Indian constitution. Erdoğan’s government did not make any reference to Pakistan’s new map that had been issued just hours earlier that counts Indian territories as its own.

New Delhi isn’t surprised. In the past, Erdoğan has gone out of his way to echo Imran Khan on Kashmir. Like in February this year, Erdoğan’s speech in the Pakistan National Assembly during his visit to Islamabad compared the “struggle of Kashmiris” with the Ottoman Empire’s fight during World War I.

But this isn’t all that Ankara has been doing. An intelligence report on the role played by fronts for the Turkish government last month accused Ankara of efforts to radicalise Indian Muslims and recruit fundamentalists. Turkey had emerged as the “the hub of anti-India activities” next only to Pakistan.

A second report handed over to national security planners over the past week said fronts for the Turkish government or the outfits it supports – some of them directly linked to Erdogan and his family – appeared to have made deeper inroads in India than assessed earlier. Much of this effort is directed via three sectors: Turkish state media, educational institutes and the nonprofit sector, or NGOs.

The intelligence assessment identified individuals and groups, some of them also suspected to be in touch with Pakistan’s ISI, who had been lured to work with entities in Turkey that had strong links with the Erdogan regime.

In particular, the report listed organisations that had started accelerating what it described as “lucrative scholarships” to Indians to study in Turkey.

“Turkey has been providing lucrative scholarships and running exchange programmes for Indian Kashmiri and Muslim students to study in Turkey through state-sponsored NGOs. Once the students land in Turkey, they are approached and taken over by the Pakistan proxies operating there,” the report said.

The list of outfits that sponsor the scholarships is long, the report said. It includes Turkey Youth Foundation (TUGVA), Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Turkish Airlines, Yunnus Emre Institute (YEI), Turkey’s Diyanet Foundation (TDF) and Turkist Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).

“Most of these organisations have direct connections with the Turkish government, President Erdogan or his family,” a counter-terror official said.

The TUGVA, which functions under Erdogan’s son Bilal’s patronage, has developed strong links within India by establishing connections with Islamic outfits in India including Jamaat-e-Islamic Organisation’s student wing, Student Islamic Organisation (SIO), the report said.

SIO’s Fawaz Shaheen, however, denied that the students’ body had anything to do with any Turkish group or entity related to Erdogan or his family. “We have nothing to do with either Turkish or other groups involved in anti-India activities,” Fawaz Shaheen said.

The intel report also accused the Turkish Embassy in Delhi of forging alliances with Indian NGOs, pointing that Indian activists who serve Ankara’s agenda are increasingly being sent to Turkey on exposure trips and encouraged to speak against India. Some of the Turkish organisations that have been used to launch coordinated attacks on India are its International Humanitarian Relief Foundation, the TDF (which also funds scholarships) and Pak-Turkey Cultural Association.

The TDF is part of the religious directorate of Turkey, now deployed with Erdogan supporters, and tasked to build Erdogan’s image as the tallest leader of the Muslim community by championing the Islamic cause where it suits Erdogan’’s ambitions.

And Turkey’s authoritarian leader for 18 years has many.

The most prominent has been to lead the Muslim world, building on Turkey’s imperial Ottoman past. The Ottoman sultans doubled as the caliphs of the Muslim world. Erdogan and his supporters believe they can revive the Ottoman Empire’s former glory that collapsed nearly a century back, and its peak in the 1500s ruled over much of Southeastern Europe, west Asia, and North Africa’s coastal strip.

Erdogan’s effort to expand its influence among South Asian Muslims comes against the backdrop of his pitch to challenge Saudi Arabia’s dominance in the Islamic world and offering a conservative Turkey with Ottoman traditions as a model for Islamic nations to follow.

It is a narrative that works well for Imran Khan in the Indian subcontinent, particularly given India’s recent success in deepening its ties with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In April, Pakistan’s public broadcaster started airing Turkey’s television series, Ertugrul Gazi, which is loosely based on the story of the 13th century Muslim Oghuz Turk leader Ertugrul, whose son Osman Ghazi is considered to be the founder of the Ottoman Empire.

The series dubbed in Urdu, promoted by Imran Khan in Pakistan just as it was supported by Erdogan in Turkey, depicts the bravery of Muslim Oghuz Turks fighting the Mongol, Christians and Byzantines, glorifies the Ottoman Empire and is seen as a key part of Turkey’s “soft power” influence in the Muslim world.
