Women are used to lure in young men into conflict zones, provide financial support for the terrorist groups through slavery and sex trafficking
The offering of kidnapped women and girls to terrorist as sex slaves or wives helped the Islamist groups in recruiting fighters.
While sex trafficking is used to bankroll the extremist operations, it is also used to attract a certain type of people to the sex trade market hub previously in ISIS territory, currently in Turkey where women and minors are sold into sex traffickers and other individuals.
Iraqi Yazidi activist Ali Al-Khansouri revealed in an exclusive interview to “Sputnik” in Iraq, the kidnappings of Yazidis held by the “ISIS” terrorist group, along with children from the minority are offered for sale in slave markets in three Turkish cities.
Also, two minor girls who were kidnapped by the terrorist organization “ISIS”, as spaya and a female slave of sexual slavery, from the Sinjar district, west of Mosul, the Nineveh center, northern Iraq, years ago, were newly identified in Iran, and they are for sale.
Reports pointed out that there are tens maybe hundreds of kids who were kidnapped and transferred from Kobani to Iran and Turkey were forced into the Islamic religion by the captures, and forced to abandon their Yazidi language and culture.
Across the region into Africa where Boko Haram members would rape women and underage girls and impregnate to produce the next generation of fighters. Thousands of victims from Muslim and Christian backgrounds were forced into sexual slavery and forced marriage to terrorists.
Jihadists in Iraq took about 5,000 Yazidis into captivity, most of them were women and children, forcing them to convert to Islam, many were raped and tortured, but this is not the whole story.
Women and children from Christian and Muslim communities were forced into sexual slavery and forced marriage in Syria. 200,000 Syrian child refugees were forced into slave labour and armed conflict as child soldiers in Lebanon, Turkey and Iran.
According to the 2016 Global Slavery Index, about 45.8 million people in 167 countries are trapped in modern versions of enslavement. The report also reveals that 480,000 people in Turkey live like modern slaves most of them come from the conflict zones in Syria, Iraq and Libya.
Turkey is not alone in this as many European countries are also believed to be in on the abuse of refugees or doesn’t do enough to stop it. Walk Free states that in Europe modern slavery is rarely found, but forced labor and sexual abuse are common.
The effects of and refugees influx in Europe is contributing to the abuse of the refugees, most of whom are subjected to the control of Islamist groups that control the charity organizations and use it to use, abuse or radicalize the refugees to further their agendas
