White House: Harris told Israel president of importance of protecting civilian lives

Washington (Reuters) – U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris emphasized in a call with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Tuesday the importance of protecting civilian lives and respecting international humanitarian law, the White House said in a statement.
