President of Guatemala receives Saudi Foreign Minister

Guatemala City – Alejandro Giammattei, the president of Guatemala, met with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia, outside the ninth summit of the Association of Caribbean States’ heads of state and government.

King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent their greetings to the president and their best wishes to the Guatemalan government and people through Prince Faisal.

The Saudi king and crown prince also received greetings from the Guatemalan president, who also wished for the country’s continuing advancement.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations as well as global and regional topics of mutual concern during the discussion.

Haytham Al-Malki, the Kingdom’s non-resident ambassador to Guatemala and Mexico, as well as Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, the director-general of the foreign minister’s office, were present at the reception.
