ZERO results in 165 UP Schools due to Anti-Copying measures

Date:

Lucknow – With the implementation of anti-copying rule in Uttar Pradesh, over 165 schools have shown ZERO results, which means not a single student could clear the examinations on their own. However, more than 388 schools have shown 20 per cent results.

Director of UP Board, Vinay Kumar Pandey said, “While it is no feat to boasts of, the results is an indicator of the kind of strict anti-copying measures put in place during the Board exams.”

As per records of the UP Board, in high school examinations, districts with maximum number of zero results include Prayagraj (7), Mirzapur (6), Etah (6), Ballia (5), Ghazipur (5), Hardoi (4), Azamgarh (3), Aligarh (3), Chitrakoot (3), Pratapgarh (3), Shrawasti (3) besides two such schools in Bahraich, Mau, Jaunpur, Sonebhadra, Shahjahanpur, Kannauj and Fatehpur and one each in Sidharth Nagar, Deoria, Varanasi, Chandauli, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Kasganj, Moradabad, Bareilly, Badaun, Rae Bareli, etc.

Similarly, in intermediate examination, other districts in the list are Pratapgarh (5), Ghazipur (5), Azamgarh (4), three institutions each in Prayagraj, Gonda and Ayodhya besides two each in Etah, Hathras, Kanpur Dehat, Kannauj, Jalaun, Amethi, Bahraich, Ballia and Jaunpur districts.

Of 388 schools with below 20% result, as many as 139 have figured in the high school examinations list and 249 in the intermediate list.

On the other hand, Government schools administered under Kejriwal Government in Delhi scored a whopping percentage of 80. The loose measures and unethical nature of work in Uttar Pradesh so far has resulted in a major setback in education field.
