India to provide 7.5 mln free gas connections, total outlay of about $200 mln

New Delhi (Reuters) – India will provide 7.5 million free cooking gas connections for households to women over the next three years with financial implication of 16.5 billion rupees (about $200 million), Anurag Thakur, the federal information minister, said on Wednesday.
