MBS of Saudi Arabia and PM Meloni of Italy spoke about matters they both find important

Rome – Giorgia Meloni, the prime minister of Italy, called Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). During their conversation, they covered a variety of subjects and concerns of interest.

The bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and Italy were also discussed by the Crown Prince and Meloni.

According to SPA, the leaders discussed ways to increase chances to further strengthen ties as well as areas of cooperation between the two nations.

The Italian prime minister announced this week that she will undertake her first official trip to the US since assuming office on July 27.

According to Italian diplomats, before determining whether to withdraw Italy from China’s Belt and Road (BRI) plan, Meloni wanted to meet with Biden.

Meloni stated that she would talk to Biden about supporting Africa.
