Three aircraft sent by the UAE to aid Sudanese

Abu Dhabi – According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE has dispatched three planes with more than 115 tonnes of food and medical supplies to aid those impacted by the crisis in Sudan.

100 tonnes of medical supplies, including medication, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, dressings, surgical tape, and endoscopic equipment, were delivered by two flights to the airport in Port Sudan.

The third aircraft touched down in Chad with 15 tonnes of food aid for Sudanese refugees.

The UAE’s leadership ordered the relief supplies to be sent, according to Sultan Mohammed Al-Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, and it shows their commitment to helping the Sudanese people.

Since the crisis began, the UAE has donated over 240 tonnes of food, medicine, and other aid.
