Riyadh – This week, according to the Saudi Press Agency, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) donated 163 tonnes and 930 kilogrammes of food baskets to Lebanon.
The food parcels were distributed to 12,610 people, predominantly Syrian and Palestinian refugees, in Beirut, Ayrouni, Akkar, and El Kharroub.
The action is a component of KSrelief’s project to support Lebanon’s food security during Ramadan.
It is also a component of the humanitarian and assistance programmes Saudi Arabia, which is represented by the center, offers to refugees and the most vulnerable sections of Lebanon’s population.
