Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), stated that India believes in carrying out its religious obligations and does not aspire to be a superpower like the US, Russia, or China.
“India values helping others, and this tradition dates back to the Vedas. He made this statement during his speech at the Ved Sanskrit Gyan Gaurav Samaroh on Sunday. “Our country is developing to be a righteous nation and governing its religious duties as it paves its way to being a developed nation,” he said.
According to him, developed nations wield influence over developing ones, just as the US overthrew the Soviet Union while it was in power. While the US and Russia are using Ukraine as a pawn, China is currently putting itself in a position to defeat the US, Bhagwat noted. Regardless of its relationship with the nation, he claimed, India has always aided other countries in need.
India merely wants to assist Ukraine. The RSS leader declared, “This is our country.”
Bhagwat praised India’s foreign policy, saying that formerly India was unable to adopt such a stance. Bhagwat gave the example of how India supported Sri Lanka during its economic crisis, saying, “Sri Lanka used to always side with China or Pakistan and always kept India away from their internal affairs, but when it was in danger, only India came to its rescue as we will never take advantage of any country’s situation.”
He claimed that India is now advancing its religious beliefs and that the nation defending religion won’t exploit any other nation.
Bhagwat added in a cryptic statement about the development of technology, “Science disregards religion. People are concerned that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will eliminate the human race tomorrow. Religion is not recognised by science as a biological animal, even if humans are.
