Saudi Arabia distributed 12 tonnes of food donations in Bangladesh

Dammam – Saudi Arabia distributed 12 tonnes of food supplies in the three regions of Bangladesh by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center KSrelief, benefiting 3,000 people from 500 families.

In the meantime, the centre kept distributing food supplies to Albania as part of the nation’s aid initiative 2023.

Also, the organisation donated five tonnes and 600 kg of Ramadan food baskets to 100 families from the most in needy groups in the Kosovo city of Malisheva.

As everything was going on, Maj. Gen. Hussein Al-Aji Al-Awadhi, the governor of Yemem’s Al-Jawf region, met with Ahmed Al-Bayez, assistant supervisor-general for operations and programmes at KSrelief.

The growth of the Saudi initiatives carried out in Yemen as well as other topics of relevance to both parties were covered during the discussion.

Al-Awadhi praised the Kingdom’s relief and humanitarian aid given to impoverished nations and communities, noting that this aid helped to lessen the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Prior to that, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, the center’s supervisor-general, spoke with Ulugbek Maksudov, the ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom, on Wednesday.
