Nail-biting footage that is doing rounds on social media shows a couple of men on a motorcycle who took the forest road had a close brush with death when a leopard emerged from the woods and pounced on them. Animal attack videos are all over the internet, but this one is a little different – you’ll end up rooting for the animal here.

Though it is not clear where the video was captured and who shot it, it did capture a lot of people’s attention after being shared on Twitter by IFS Susanta Nanda. He tweeted, ‘How could the leopard miss it?All were waiting to give right of way to its real owner, the leopard, when a motorcyclist wanted to have his way. Would have been his last ride. Please learn to respect the wild????’

The video, taken in the dark of the night shows an empty road. You can see a leopard standing by the roadside even as cars wait for it to cross. As the two bikers approach, it emerges from the wood and pounces on them. The animal misses its target by a few inches it seems.

Luckily for the two gentlemen, the leopard doesn’t chase the bike and disappears in the jungle.

Since being shared online, it has garnered over 7.6k views, 705 likes and a lot of reactions.
