Indian man walks 11 Kms with his hanging intestines after a train accident

Warangal — In a shocking incident, a passenger fell off a moving train on Monday and got his stomach opened with intestines hanging out, and he walked around 11 kms along the railway track with his shirt tied around his waist. It happened in Warangal district of south India’s Telangana state.

38-year-old poor man Sunil Chauhan, along with his brother Pravin Chauhan, of Hussainabad of north India’s Uttar Pradesh came to Warangal in search of livelihood. They were traveling in Sanghamitra Express train moving towards Nellore district.

While the train was passing by a railway station, Sunil went to the toilet and stood near the door, with a jerk he fell off the door and none noticed his sudden disappearance.

Sunil fell on the tracks. His stomach got a tear and intestines spilled out. However, Sunil gathered courage, took off his shirt and thrusted the intestines inside and tied his shirt tight around his stomach.

He walked nearly 11 Kms to reach Hasanparthy station, TT reported. At the station, the station master Sanjay Kumar Patel called an ambulance and Sunil was rushed to MGM Hospital in Warangal, where Doctors performed surgery. Sunil is still undergoing treatment in ICU section.
