Iran is ready to hit in American’s head, challenges IRGC Senior Commander

Date:

Tehran — Senior commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on Sunday that Iran is ready to hit America in the head if they move, and it’s an “opportunity” for Iranians.

“The United States’ military presence in the Gulf used to be a serious threat but now it is an opportunity,” General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the aerial forces division in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said, according to Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA).

“An aircraft carrier that has at least 40 to 50 planes on it and 6000 forces gathered within it was a serious threat for us in the past but now…the threats have switched to opportunities,” General Amir added.

He said, “If [the Americans] make a move we will hit them in the head.”

U.S. President Donald Trump has increased economic pressure on Iran, moving to cut off all its oil exports, to try to get Tehran to curb its nuclear and missile programs as well as end support for proxies in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen.

The escalations have taken serious and deadly turns, any move from either sides could result in possible US-Iran war.
