Abu Dhabi – The UAE’s Islamic Affairs and Endowment Department (Awqaf) has introduced Online Quran classes for learning and memorizing the Holy Book ahead of Ramadan.
Dr Mohammed Matar Al Kaabi, chairman of the authority, said aspirant learners will have access to virtual Quran classes on their website.
“The service will be accessible round the week at flexible timings except on Fridays. Male and female teachers will be online from 8:00am to 8:00pm on three shifts taking four classes each,” he said.
“The maximum number of the Quran learners allowed per class is seven students. Those interested in the new service can register on the website,” he added.
“All community members can avail of these services in the UAE and all they need is a smart phone or a computer and a high-speed internet connection.
The authority also has an interactive syllabus for memorizing Quran online, he said.
The program will help busy businesspersons, job workers, and female students from the comfort of their house during their suitable and free time.
